About the Program
Multiply Minds is an organization dedicated to expanding access to advanced math education for students who might not otherwise encounter it. Through this partnership, high school student volunteers travel to schools in the Newark school district to teach sessions in competition mathematics across 4 grade levels — helping students build the problem-solving skills needed for contests like the AMC and beyond.
Inspiration Learning's own Kelly Nie, founder and president, served as one of the volunteer instructors, leading sessions on AMC 10 geometry — covering topics such as angle relationships, triangle properties, circles, and coordinate geometry at a competition problem-solving level.
The program aims to close the gap between under-resourced school districts and the competitive math opportunities typically available only to students in well-funded schools.
